Research in my lab mainly focuses to understand the etiology and epidemiology of viruses that infects important
agricultural crops in Oklahoma and other neighboring states. We are interested to know how viruses evolve and
survive in nature. Therefore, we experiment on the natural and experimental evolution of various known viruses.
In addition, we also study mycoviruses (which infect fungi) particularly infecting Fusarium species that cause
various diseases of cotton and other important crops.
